The chiller has two semi-hermetic screw compressors equipped with the latest technology. They are compact and compatible with the use of ammonia thanks to the electric coil motor made from aluminium. Compressors use a variable frequency system to modulate their capacity. This meansthat the response of the compressors is always proportional to the cooling demand of the plant. As such, we achieve maximum energy efficiency as we place priority on regulating the rotation speed of the compressors over the modulation through the slide valve.
The entire ensemble rests on a self-supporting structure with mineral wool panel enclosures that soundproof the entire machine. As a result, the installation can be placed in any location, with no need for a mechanical room, which allows for modular expansion in phases as a client’s needs grow.
Since it uses ammonia as a refrigerant, Refrica is committed to providing a natural refrigerant system with a long useful life and no restrictions of use in the medium or long term. Thanks to its low-charge refrigerant, this installation is 100% safe and versatile for all types of applications that require both cold and heat, with parameters ranging from -10ºC to 7ºC for the cold circuit, and from +20ºC to +40ºC for heat.
