Refrica Group drives its industrial growth with the incorporation of Simo
Refrica Group continues to advance its growth and consolidation strategy within the industrial sector with the incorporation of Simo, a company specialized in industrial electrical installations and fire protection systems.
This operation represents another step forward in the group’s evolution and strengthens its ability to offer increasingly comprehensive solutions within the industrial sector, gaining greater control over project development and execution.
According to Quim Casassas, this integration responds to a strategic vision focused on specialization, process optimization, and the expansion of technical capabilities:
“Our goal is to continue evolving towards an increasingly complete and efficient model that allows us to provide a global service while reducing dependence on external suppliers.”
With the incorporation of Simo, Refrica Group expands its technical expertise in key areas that complement its core activity within the industrial refrigeration sector. This integration will help streamline processes, optimize execution times, and improve coordination between technical disciplines, providing direct added value to clients.
The company will continue to be led by Marc Sidera and Toni Moyano, who will remain at the head of this new stage within the Refrica Group structure.
The group especially highlights the strong business and human alignment between both companies. “Simo has positioned itself as a benchmark company thanks to the professionalism of its team and its commitment to quality and service,” adds Casassas.
The incorporation of Simo follows other strategic moves carried out by Refrica Group in recent years. In 2023, the group incorporated Fritecno, strengthening its technical and production structure, while in 2024 it took another step forward with the acquisition of Frinco, a company with extensive experience in the industrial refrigeration sector.
Through these operations, Refrica Group consolidates its position within the industry and moves towards a model of an integrated solutions provider, capable of covering different technical disciplines within the same industrial project.
At the same time, the group continues expanding its territorial presence through the development of its Andalusia branch, which joins its Alicante headquarters and the group’s central structure, further strengthening its nationwide coverage.
