New refrigeration installation with Natural Refrigerants for a company dedicated to the distribution of select food products.
Every day it is more important for any food and related industry to take into account the type of facility based on parameters such as the structure or the strategic plan, in order to not only comply with the trends and regulations of the sector in relation to the industrial cold and its refrigerants, but above all look for the best alternative for efficiency and energy savings aligned with a future plan.
In this case we present a new project that has been designed and installed:
Positive temperature chambers and work rooms: The refrigeration system consists of two glycol chillers in the -8/-4°C regime with total heat recovery to heat glycol to +35/+30°C. The installation of hot glycol allows us to defrost efficiently due to the use of the heat dissipated by the chiller’s condensers.
Freezing chambers and tunnels: To service the freezing regime, a CO2 installation (R-744) has been chosen, in a subcritical regime, taking advantage of the cold glycol circuit. This highly efficient system, making the most of CO2 performance and minimizing its electrical consumption. With this system we are able to provide service to frozen storage chambers, tunnels and deep-frozen chambers that reach ambient temperatures of up to -40°C.
Maturation chambers: Two #REFRICA #CMR equipment has been installed that allows temperature and humidity to be controlled to optimize the #Maturation of the meat. We use cold glycol, hot glycol and an air distribution system to ensure that all pieces of meat are aged equally.
